On August 1, 2016, we launched the GMB National Lifelong Learning Fund to help members access education. The fund provides financial assistance to eligible members seeking education and training opportunities.

This membership benefit serves as both an organising and retention tool. Non-members must join the GMB and maintain at least 53 weeks of continuous subscriptions to apply. The fund particularly supports members who have recently lost their employment, offering financial aid to help them upskill and reskill.
